FTDI Controller

Direct D2XX control of FTDI multi-channel devices such as the FT4232HQ. Connect channels independently, control GPIO pins, and exchange SPI data from a single window. Serial Flux COM monitoring remains independent.

Device selection

Refresh the device list, select an FTDI interface, and connect or disconnect each channel individually.

GPIO control

Select GPIO pins 0–7, drive selected pins High or Low, and read pin status.

MPSSE / SPI

Use MPSSE/SPI mode on FT4232HQ channels A and B. Enter TX bytes, write SPI data, and read a specified number of bytes into the RX field.

Four channels

Manage A, B, C, and D independently. On the FT4232HQ, channels C and D provide GPIO controls in this interface.

Console messages

See device scan results, connection status, and operational messages in the built-in console.

Refresh devices

Rescan connected FTDI interfaces without leaving the controller.

Designed for embedded development and test fixtures.

Useful for GPIO sequencing, SPI communication, and hardware bring-up. The screenshot shows a device scan with zero interfaces found; it demonstrates the interface, not an active connection.
