Serial Flux Software License Agreement (EULA)
Last updated: August 10, 2026
1. License Grant
Subject to payment, license validity, and compliance with this agreement, Serial Flux grants the licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased software features on the number of computers permitted by the applicable license.
2. License Tiers
Products may include Serial Flux Standard, discounted Standard + Python Scripting, Python Scripting Add-On for an existing Standard license, standalone CAN Coyote X7, and the Full Toolset containing Standard + Python Scripting + CAN Coyote X7.
3. Activation
Licenses may require online or offline activation and may be bound to computer/device identifiers. Activation limits are enforced by the license service. Eligible licenses may be deactivated or released for use on another computer.
4. Restrictions
You may not sell, publish, share, or redistribute license keys; circumvent licensing or activation controls; falsely represent ownership; or redistribute Serial Flux software except where expressly permitted. Restrictions apply only to the extent allowed by applicable law.
5. Python Scripting
Python Scripting executes user-created or user-selected code. The user is responsible for scripts and their effects, including commands sent to equipment, files created or modified, and automation decisions. Scripts should be reviewed and tested before production use.
6. CAN Coyote X7 and Hardware
CAN Coyote X7 requires compatible third-party CAN hardware. Serial Flux does not currently sell CAN hardware. Hardware availability, quality, electrical characteristics, revisions, and vendor support are the responsibility of the manufacturer or seller.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that it is error-free, that every device or protocol is supported, or that results are suitable for safety-critical, production, or other particular applications.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serial Flux will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, equipment availability, or business opportunity arising from use of the software. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
