Information We Collect
Serial Flux may collect information you provide when creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a license, contacting support, or using license activation services. This may include your name, email address, account credentials, order information, license identifiers, activation information, device identifiers used for licensing, and support communications.
Passwords
Account passwords are stored using one-way password hashing. Serial Flux does not need to store your plain-text password after account creation.
Payment Information
When production payment processing is enabled, payment card or PayPal credentials should be submitted directly to the applicable payment processor. Serial Flux does not intend to store complete credit-card numbers, card security codes, or PayPal passwords. Transaction identifiers, payment status, billing contact information, and related order information may be retained.
License and Device Information
License and device information is used to issue licenses, enforce activation limits, administer trials, prevent repeated trial abuse, deactivate or release computers, provide customer license history, and protect the licensing system from misuse.
How We Use Information
Information may be used to provide Serial Flux products and services, process orders, manage accounts and licenses, provide support, improve the software and website, investigate security or licensing abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
Serial Flux does not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared with service providers when reasonably necessary for hosting, email, payment processing, backups, security, or other business services, and when required by law.
Retention and Security
Records may be retained as reasonably necessary for licensing, transactions, security, support, legal, tax, and business purposes. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no Internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices
You may contact Serial Flux to request assistance with access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Some transaction, licensing, fraud-prevention, backup, or legal records may need to be retained.
